Love is meant to be shared. This saying led Villamor Dizon, an animal lover since childhood, to found Vilzon Kennel. Vilzon Kennel started breeding dogs since the 1980s and had been registered with the PCCI since 1985. At first, Villamor focused on breeding a variety of dog breeds, such as the Mini Pinscher, Doberman, German Shepherd, Boxer and Dalmatians.
After almost 30 years in business, Villamor has successfully passed on his passion to his children. On Valentine’s Day 1998, he bought them a Shih Tzu, named Belle, to care for. From then on, Vilzon Kennel shifted its focus on breeding Shih Tzu breed because of its irresistible cuteness and the growing demand for this type of dog breed. To return the favor, the Dizon children bought Villamor a Golden Retriever named Rain as a gift on last year’s Fathers’ Day. Currently, the family is happily raising Kitkat, an adorable and playful Shih Tzu. She was born on October 12, 2010 and featured with a pink ribbon as shown on the profile picture on this site.
Vilzon Kennel is now a run by Villamor’s entire family. His wife and children have been actively involved in breeding dogs and sharing their love with the furry little additions in the family.
